      Tata Motors to launch Manza sedan in South Africa early next year

      The Indian auto giant Tata Motors is all set to roll-out its Manza sedan in the South-African market by early next year. The company is currently showcasing the Manza model along with its Prima range of world trucks at the ongoing Johannesburg International Motor Show, in South Africa. The company has said that both of these portfolio cars will be launched in the South African market early 2012.

      Speaking to the reporters, Tata Motors Managing Director (India Operations) P M Telang said, "The new Tata vehicles being introduced in South Africa will bolster our already significant portfolio in the country. These introductions benefit from our innovations and learning from South Africa's customers." He added that the company sees Africa as a region of tremendous potential for the group and its participation in the Motor Show with the introduction of the latest products will serve to further strengthen the Tata brand in these markets.

      While further informing on the development, Tata International Managing Director Noel Tata said, "In South Africa, the auto industry is making giant strides and we are happy to contribute to this growth."

      Tata Manza is the latest offering of Tata Motors in the Indian auto market. The car is priced in the range of Rs 5.4 to 7.7 lakh. The car is expected to receive a good response in the South African market.
