The interior of the Tata Zica has been officially revealed courtesy of a promotional video that the automaker has released in the run up to its official unveiling later this month. The new budget hatchback from the automaker will replace the Indica in its lineup.
The pictures reveal a cabin design very similar to what we have seen on the Tata Bolt. The steering wheel is common (including the buttons) while the instrument cluster has got a white bezel. This variant which appears to be called XZ also gets a multifunction display with information display like the current gear and both the trip meters. The font and layout are similar to what is available on the Bolt and Zest.
Moving over we can see a two-din system with a chrome outline for AC vents that sit above it. Also lurking in the background are chrome door handles which we believe will only be offered with the top-spec variants.
The Zica (codenamed the Kite) is Tata’s new budget hatchback and will slot in under the Bolt in their vehicle hierarchy. It will be offered with petrol and diesel engines as well as AMT. The hatchback is expected to be followed by the Sway compact sedan a few months later.
