      Tata Motors set to launch Nano GenX with AMT

      Indian car maker Tata Motors is continuing its unrelenting pursuit of making the Nano a successful series with the GenX Nano. According to a report by IndiaAutosBlog, Tata Motors will introduce the GenX Nano with a changed style, opening tailgate and an AMT version.

      Sources claim that the Tata GenX Nano will feature redesigned bumper, both rear and front, rear fog lamp and smoked headlamps. Tata Motors will be making a few more changes in this car, such as opening tailgate for accessing rear luggage space and a larger fuel tank. Another change expected in this car is the addition of an AMT gearbox version. According to reports, Tata GenX Nano (AMT) has an ARAI tested mileage of around 21.9 kmpl.

      Leaving no stone unturned to ensure success; Tata Motors has launched a scheme that entails current owners of Nano having the advantage to become the first owners of the new car. This scheme allows owners of Tata Nano to avail exchange offers to buy the GenX version and also get a discount of up to Rs. 20,000. The Indian firm has made announcement regarding its decision to donation to Child Rights using a referral program.

      Tata Motors’ GenX Nano will come in three trims, namely XE, XM and XT. Out of these versions, only XM and XT are likely to feature the AMT transmission system. Some reports claim that Tata Motors will be offering two new paint schemes, Sangria Red and Persian Rose, for the GenX Nano.
