The country’s leading vehicle maker Tata Motors has said that the company has received an order of 1314 trucks from Siddhivinayak Logistics Ltd (SVLL).
This is the single largest ever order in the company’s history which is about worth Rs 225 crore. The mega order includes two recently rolled-out products Tata PRIMA 4923-LX and the Tata LPT 3723.
SVVL, a Surat based company, has a fleet size of over 4000 commercial vehicles. The company has its operations in a number of diverse segments including steel, cement, tractors, chemicals, machinery, etc.
Commenting on the recent development, Mr. Vinod Sahay, Tata Motors Head -Sales & Marketing, Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Vinod Sahay said, "We are committed to deliver these vehicles this fiscal year."
