      Tata Motors' making Jaguar Land Rover a powerhouse in China, opens 100th store in Beijing

      Jaguar Land Rover, the world famous British luxury car maker and a completely owned subsidiary of Indian multinational automobile maker Tata Motors, has opened its 100th operational retail outlet on Chinese turf. The two sister marques opened the doors of a new showroom called 'Beijing Changjiushida 4S Centre' in Central Beijing on November 29, 2012. The new Jaguar Land Rover facility has been equipped with a world class car showroom along with a highly sophisticated vehicle repair and service centre.

      Reportedly, the latest Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Beijing is owned by the big Chinese firm Changjiu Group, which is notable for providing latest and industry specific passenger vehicle logistics services. Further, some 110 employees have already been hired by Changjiu Group, one of China's leading private enterprises in the automobile industry domain.

      Expressing his delight at the latest development from the company's stables in Chinese auto market, Phil Popham, Director, Global Sales Operations for Jaguar Land Rover, said, “Jaguar Land Rover has ambitious plans for growth and as well as developing our global manufacturing footprint, we are investing in our global sales and service infrastructure, to enhance the experience our customers have of our brands. Our dealer partners have also invested more than £1bn in the Jaguar Land Rover franchise since 2008, creating a global dealer network of more than 2,700 which will help us realise the global potential of our brands in the future.”

      Evidently, Jaguar Land Rover has gone great lengths in ensuring a well established dealership network in the Chinese automotive sector. Within a span of two years (since 2010), the iconic British luxury and sports car maker has increased its presence by almost 200 per cent, in one of the fastest emerging car markets in the world. The company has already set up a world class infrastructure on China soil, comprising three Land Rover Experience centres, three training workshops, along with five components and spares distribution retailer centres.

      Expressing his happiness and satisfaction regarding at the opening ceremony of company's 100th retail outlet, Bob Grace, President, Jaguar Land Rover China, said, “The opening of the Beijing Changjiushida 4S Centre represents the 100th addition to our nationwide network of dealer partners and a significant mark of our China success. Our strategy has focused on bringing Chinese consumers the very best and latest new cars, tailored to meet their requirements. We want to bring these vehicles to customers throughout China.”

      It has already been confirmed that that the Chinese automobile market is among Jaguar Land Rover's most successful international ventures, which contributes a huge fraction to the company's total global auto industry wise growth. The stylish and sheer class British auto maker has witnessed a surge of 75 per cent in vehicle sales close to 57,000 units between January and October months of 2012 in the Chinese auto market, as against those recorded in the same period last year.
