Tata Motors, one of the largest Indian automobile manufacturers have launched the Aria 4x2. This car has similar features of AWD model, but is priced at a more reasonably. The company views the 2011 launch of this model as a completion of its luxurious crossover range. The previous model of the Tata Aria 4x2 was launched in 2010 and since then, the research and development team of the company has been constantly working on improving the flagship model. The fittings and finish of Tata Aria was enhanced at the UK subsidiary of the Tata Motors, which is Jaguar-Land Rover (JLR).
The Tata Aria 4X2 was launched to meet the requirements of more than one segment and is presently available in three variants, namely Aria Prestige, Aria Pleasure and Aria Pure. All these models are available within the price range of Rs. 11 to 15 lacs. This model can be purchased across 85 cities all over India, at any of the 150 showrooms. Moreover, the Aria Pure, which is the new model, has 16 less features than the Aria Prestige
The Aria 4x4 is incorporated with the 2.2 Litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) engine. It also has a variable turbine technology with a 32 bit ECU, which delivers a 138 bhp power and a 320 nm torque. The other features which add on to the technical specifications of the Aria 4x4 are its automatic darkness sensing lights, rain sensing wipers and roof utility space. Moreover, the torsional vibrations from the powertrain are isolated with the dual mass flywheel, which is incorporated in this model. The dual Flywheel also lowers the NVH levels in the cabin.
he precise shifting and the smooth flow of the power through the gears are enabled through the functioning of the New Mark II engine, which is amalgamated precisely with the engine. The suspension of the Aria 4X2 is specially designed to perform on the Indian roads. Moreover, the Aria 4X4 provides the comfort of a Sedan and a SUV, which is mainly attributed to the low roll characteristics and the heat soaking technology.
among the three variants of the Aria 4X4, the Tata Prestige is the most advanced. This variant would mainly serve those customers who are looking for the latest technology and durability, for which Tata is popular. The base model of the Aria 4X4 is available with the BS III version and the top model is available with the BS IV version. The New Tata Aria 4X4 is manufactured on the lines of the Tata Aria, which is based upon the Tata Xover concept. This concept was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in the year 2006.
