Though Tata Motors has just increased the prices, other leading automakers like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai have hiked it up to Rs 20,000. The country's leading utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra has hiked the commercial vehicle prices by about 1 per cent from this month onwards. The upcoming Hexa SUV from Tata Motors will replace the Aria crossover in January 2017. Post launch, it will compete against the likes of the XUV500 and Renault Duster in the country.
