      Tata Motors, the country's largest passenger car maker, is offering discounts and freebies on many of its popular models in the Indian auto market. The most irresistible one is the cash discount of Rs. 2.5 lakh available on the Tata Aria crossover, while entry level Nano, Indica Vista, Manza, Sumo and Safari DiCOR models also carry attractive schemes. The company is looking at boosting its sales by luring domestic car buyers with enticing schemes and offers, which are valid till April 30, 2013.

      Apart from exciting cash benefits, Tata Motors is also offering free gold coins on purchase of its cars. The company’s ‘Golden Festive Offer’ is valid on Nano, Indica Vista D90, Sumo Gold, Safari and Manza Club Class models. The entry level Nano is being offered with cash benefits of up to Rs. 15,500 and comes with a 4-year or 60,000 km warranty. Further, the Tata Indica Vista D90 hatchback carries maximum benefits of up to Rs. 35,000, while the Manza Club Class mid-size sedan is being offered with cash discounts up to Rs. 47,000.

      Coming to the company’s utility vehicle portfolio, Tata Safari DiCOR Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is coming with maximum cash benefits of Rs. 47,000. Further, the Tata Sumo Gold is being offered with a huge discount of Rs. 40,500. However, the Aria crossover carries the most exciting offer of a Rs. 2.5 lakh discount. Evidently, the company is trying to lure domestic buyers away from the models offered by its arch rival- Mahindra & Mahindra in the country. Experts believe that Tata Motors is aiming to improve its sales performance, after going through consecutive monthly sales drop in the domestic market.
