It’s official finally! March 23 has been set as the final date of launch for Tata’s much awaited model. According to the official spokesperson from Tata Motors, Debasis Ray, "The much-awaited Tata Nano will be launched at a function in Mumbai on March 23. It will be a big day for the company." The final pricing and distribution of the car will be announced on the launch date.
Moreover, the company also officially declared that the bookings will begin in the second week of April. The car is one of the most awaited models not only in India but also around the world. The whole world is anxiously waiting for the model to launch due to its price tag of Rs. 100,000 or nearly $2000. It is cheaper than some of the laptops in the world. The car will be available for display from the first week of April.
Tata Motors is making maximum efforts to make the car available for bookings across the country - "across the length and breadth of India," as Debasis Ray puts it.
