      Tata Motors has always been in the thick of things with new releases almost every year. The main reason for the huge success of Tata Motors is the continuous launches each year, for which, it never went out of contention. Even in 2014, the popular automobile unit launched a couple of cars and unveiled a few more. The first glimpse of these cars was seen during the Auto Expo in February, which was held in New Delhi. During this event, Tata Motors had shown the hatchback, Bolt and sub-four metre sedan, the Zest, during the Auto Expo. Apart from these, the manufacturer had also unveiled Nexon and ConnectNext, which were the concept cars of this brand. According to the reports, which were received, these futuristic models throw ample light on the Horizon Next strategy, which will be employed in the future products from Tata.

      The Bolt from Tata, which is scheduled to be launched sometime next year as a flagship hatchback for the company, will be available both in petrol and diesel variants. While the Revotron 1.2 T engine is employed in the petrol model, the diesel car uses the 1.3 litre Quadrajet. The petrol variant is capable of producing a maximum power of 85 PS at the rate of 5000 rpm, while the diesel variant produces 75 PS at the rate of 4000 rpm. The maximum torque for the petrol model is nearly 140 Nm while that for diesel, it is 190 Nm at a reduced 1750 to 3000 rpm. The fuel tank capacity of both the models is 44 litres, which will make sure that long distances can be covered by a single refill.

      On the other hand, the sedan Zest is powered by an 1193 cc, four-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 90 PS of power at 5000 rpm. The diesel variant, which uses a 1248 cc, four-cylinder engine churns out 75 PS of power at the same rpm. Maximum possible torque, which can be produced by the mill, is of the range of 140 Nm for petrol and 190-200 Nm for diesel variants at a reduced rpm. With similar fuel tank capacity, this car is undoubtedly, a comfortable and stylish one, with special features that make the ride worth remembering.

      The Tata Movus is all about performance and delivers nearly a mileage of 15.16 kilometres per litre. The main technology behind this high fuel efficiency is the cost efficient fuel-filtration system. The fuel capacity of the Movus is a whopping 65 litres, which makes sure that the drive never stops. The 2.2 litre VARICOR engine can churn out 120 PS power at the rate of 4000 rpm. Moreover, the torque of this car is nearly 250 Nm. It is evident that the car, boasting of an impressive power to weight ratio, never runs short of power.

      Tata has also launched an attractive new SUV Aria, with high-end features and capacious interiors. The 2179 cc engine is capable of producing a power of 147.94 bhp at 4000 rpm. Torque output for this model is 320 Nm at a reduced rpm. The machine is mated with a five-speed gearbox, which transfers the output to the wheels. The total capacity of its fuel tank is 60 litres. Tata is surely well on track to become one of the leading automobile names in the nation.
