Tata Motors is due to launch the Hexa sometime in mid-2016. The interiors of this new MUV have now been spied and are similar to that on the Hexa displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The image reveals the new Tata steering wheel with controls, a touchscreen infotainment system with an all-new AC vents and re-designed dashboard. A lot of changes have been made both inside and outside to make the MUV more appealing. The Hexa is built on the Aria, however it has been significantly altered. It will be powered by the 2.2-litre VARiCOR engine with 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. This engine will come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic will also be offered. The Tata Hexa will be launched with two-wheel and all-wheel drive options as well.
The Aria hasn’t done well for Tata. However, with the Hexa things are looking different and better. The Hexa will be competing with the Toyota Innova and the Renault Lodgy. This new MUV will be the new flagship for Tata Motors.
