Indian Design Mark awards recognise the efforts made by product designers, as well as the reliability, overall design and value for money offered by their goods. These awards also take into account the manner in which the cars are manufactured by the company, which should be done in a responsible manner. The esteemed India Design Mark awards have been started in association with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). The jury panel featured senior faculty members of the country’s leading design institutes, along with many well known design experts of the industry.
