With the recent testing, Suzuki US have found a glitch in their GSX-R Series bikes, comprising of two models namely GSX-R1000 and GSX-R750 superbikes. They are sensing a problem in the chain adjuster, which is tending to cause motion in the rear axle if the driver misses a gear and upshifts to a higher gear.

Suzuki has always been known for the highly engineered products they produce, having a meagre chance of getting stuck with some problem. But with this recent research and experimentation, the problem seems to be a bigger one, which may lead to creating of a question mark on the testing of the beta version of the bike by Suzuki! Presently the recalling of these superbikes has been called only in the US region. The very few Indians who bought any of these two models can still get it checked and rectified from their nearest Suzuki dealer.

Suzuki GSX-R1000 has a 999cc 4-stroke 4-cylinder liquid cooled DHC engine. It consist of a racer’s capable 6-speed transmission system while on the other hand, GSX-R750 has a comparatively smaller 750cc engine, which is still much efficient for providing a significant amount of power and value of money.

Suzuki has not brought the sales of both the bikes in the Indian subcontinent so far. The R1000 model is available through the CBU route used for importing by Suzuki, whereas official import of R750 has not yet been started. You can still get your hands on this bike through private importers available throughout the country. They can import a brand new bike for you from the States, and you can be one of the proud and unique owners of this bike in the country!
