A new paint scheme has been unveiled by premium two-wheeler manufacture Suzuki for its signature model, Inazuma. The new variant has been named as Inazuma 250 Z. This 250 cc bike was displayed for the first time at the Motorcycle Live 2014 event, which was organised at Birmingham in the United Kingdom. At this event, the new Inazuma 250F was also unveiled that is a fully faired model of this bike.

The Inazuma 250Z is almost mechanically identical to the normal version; apart from which the bike will also be available in two new dual-tone paint schemes – blue, white and red, black. The bike looks all the more attractive moving ahead from the monotonous monochrome, which were previously launched. The new Inazuma 250Z is tagged at a price of GBP 3408, which when converted comes to nearly 3.31 lakhs INR in the UK market. The fully faired version is priced at GBP 3800, which is nearly 3.7 lakhs INR.

India has currently witnessed only two paint schemes – all black and deep metallic red. The model is powered by a 248 cc mill, which is capable of churning out 24 bhp power and a maximum torque of 22 Nm. Power is transmitted to the wheels with the help of a six-speed gearbox. The bike was launched in the country earlier in 2014; however, the aggressive price tag did not allow the bike to do well. Suzuki recently hit upon a strategy by giving a discount of one lakh INR for the Indian fans. The main reason for the aggressive pricing is the fact that the bike comes to the country via a CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) route.
