      Suzuki Auto launches a swank new Swift Special Edition in the South African car market

      Suzuki Auto South Africa, a subsidiary of the Japanese car maker Suzuki Motor Corp., has launched a limited edition Swift hatchback in the auto market of southern most African nation. Like India, Suzuki's all major international divisions seems to be playing the same cards of regularly feeding special and limited edition variants of their popular cars, in order to keep them alive in the market.

      The fresh Suzuki Swift Special Edition (SE) flaunts design and style cues inspired from the recently introduced Swift Sport. Among the major highlights of the limited edition model, its sporty roof spoiler and 16 inch alloy wheels score the maximum points and entail the hatch with a ravishing sporty appearance. Further, the sassy looking Swift SE comes trimmed with visually enticing silver tipped door handles and ultra-modish tail lamps that are coupled with a brand new design logo.

      Coming to the interior character, Swift SE is dubbed to leave its South African audience in awe, with its flamboyance in terms of design and styling. The silver accented centre instrument panel is laced with an array of buttons and several state-of-the-art technological innovations, such as Global Positioning System (GPS) based satellite navigation. The silver accents on door handles and dashboard score well in the car's head turning quotient, while the music loving aficionados can relish the sophisticated multimedia system compatible with a USB connectivity.

      Coming to under-the-hood specifications, the Swift SE comes assimilated with a 1.4 litre petrol motor, which churns out a peak power and torque equation of 94 bhp and 130 Nm, respectively.

      At present, Suzuki Auto South Africa has several models in its product portfolio comprising Alto and Swift hatchbacks, premium luxury Kizashi saloon and three Utility Vehicle offerings – Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Jimny, SX4 crossover and premium SUV Grand Vitara. Further, the company has declared to introduce a series of upgrades for its popular Grand Vitara SUV, soon in the South African auto market.
