Talking about exterior design, Suzuki has efficiently managed to give a tall-boy structure to the car, which sets it apart from other hatchback concepts. At the front, the concept car gets twin chrome slats that stretch out till the headlights. On the sides, the presence of smooth character lines that run from the rear to the front portion give a sleek look to the car. The other striking new feature of the concept was the pull-type door handles, which are mainly found in premium hatchbacks.

Coming to interiors, Suzuki has used light shades in order to create a soothing ambience inside the car. The cabin of the car gets dual tone theme that looks quite upmarket. Also, the plastic used in the dashboard is of good quality while the central console shares its design bits with that of incumbent hatchbacks of Suzuki. However, the addition of a large display screen on the central console is among the first time features that are showcased by Suzuki in its hatchback concept. With good overall dimensions of the car, the space offered for rear occupants is good and headroom is respectable as well. Also to mention, Suzuki said that it has increased space between front and rear seats to enhance the comfort level for rear passengers. With wider door openings and claimed best-in-class fuel efficiency, Suzuki A-Wind concept scores high on convenience.

Sources claim that Suzuki, later on, said that the car that will be based on A-Wind concept is currently in development phase and production of the same is expected to get under way by 2014. To assess things, Suzuki A-Wind concept showcases what people can expect in future generation hatchbacks. As Suzuki told that the next-generation hatchbacks would be inspired by A-Wind concept, it is likely that India might witness the launch of same in coming years. At the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki may unveil a hatchback that would draw designing cues from the A-Wind concept.
