The lucrative two wheeler market in India has tempted the Suzuka Racing Motorcycles company to launch their three new variants - SRM 250cc AC, SRM 250cc WC 2 valves, and SRM 250cc WC 4 valves. The international bike-maker has been working on developing a strong dealer network beginning with the state of Gujarat.
The SRM250 AC 2V bike is stated to be powered by a 223cc air-cooled, two-valve engine that generates about 16.3 Ps of power and 17.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five speed gearbox that is capable of attaining a top speed of about 120 km/hr. Being an off-roader, the SRM250 AC 2V gets an impressive ground clearance of about 300 mm.
The SRM250 WC 2V bike from Suzuka is stated to be powered by 223cc, liquid-cooled version that generates about 16.3 Ps of power and 17.5 Nm of torque which is similar to the SRM250 AC 2V bike. Powered by a similar engine output figures, the SRM250 WC 2V bike also attains a top speed of about 120 km/hr.
The SRM 250cc WC 4 valves is stated to be the most powerful among the lot. The bike is powered by 250.1cc four-valve, liquid-cooled engine that generates about 22.4 Ps of power and 20 Nm of peak torque output. The bike is capable of attaining a top speed of about 135 km/hr. The SRM 250cc WC 4 valves weighs about 116.5 kgs.
The the SRM250 AC 2V is priced about Rs. 3.4 Lakhs, whereas the SRM 250cc WC 2 valves shall cost about Rs. 3.45 Lakhs. The SRM 250cc WC 4 valves is priced about Rs. 3.65 Lakhs. As per sources, the prices are On-Road Pune prices. ABS technology come as standard feature on the rear wheel of these bikes, whereas the front wheel gets a disc brake.
