Stellantis has announced new leadership appointments for Citroën and Jeep brands in India. While Saurabh Vatsa will head the Citroën brand, Nipun J. Mahajan will be responsible for the operations of the Jeep brand in the country.

This change in designation comes after Roland Bouchara was recently appointed as CEO and Managing Director for Stellantis brand with full responsibilities for the Jeep and the Citroën brands in India.

Saurabh Vatsa joined PSA in 2018 and his new role will comprise sales, marketing, aftersales, product planning, and PR functions for Citroën in India. He has also played a key role in devising and implementing the unique strategy for the launch of Citroën’s C5 Aircross SUV in India.

Nipun J. Mahajan has been affiliated with the Jeep brand for the past five years and has been instrumental in achieving the 50,000 unit sales milestone for the Jeep Compass. Saurabh Vatsa and Nipun Mahajan will directly report to Roland Bouchara and have taken charge of their respective positions from 7 June, 2021.

Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director of Stellantis in India, said, “I am pleased to welcome Saurabh and Nipun to our India leadership team. These appointments are a continuation of the seamless integration process that has been well underway since Stellantis was born. Both Saurabh and Nipun bring to their position a series of stellar achievements and rich industry experience from which our customers, partners and the Group as a whole will benefit greatly.”
