The exteriors of the facelifted Rexton gets a new front fascia with vertical grille flanked by projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the SUV has new tail lamp cluster. The interiors of the sports utility vehicle feature LED cabin lamps, new steering wheel and newly styled centre console. It is also equipped with heated seats. When it comes to standard feature addition, the vehicle gets ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) and TPMS systems, smart key entry, rain sensing wipers, cruise control and an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Under the bonnet, the Ssangyong Rexton facelift is expected to retain the existing powertrain. The vehicle continues to be offered in two diesel and one petrol fuel options- a 2.0-litre diesel, 2.7-litre diesel and a 3.2-litre petrol engine. A six-speed manual transmission would be offered as standard, while a five-speed automatic comes as an option. Adding to it, the SUV is offered in both all-wheel drive and part-time four-wheel drive options.

SsangYong recently revealed its compact SUV, the Tiovli, as well in the Korean market that will be launched in several international markets. Considering the growing popularity for compact SUVs in India, we might expect the Tivoli to enter our shores as well.
