      Ssangyong Korando test mule spotted!

      Ssangyong Motors, a subsidiary of the Indian auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra, seems to have sped-up the work on launching its global portfolio Sports Utility Vehicles in the Indian market. Recently, a test mule of company’s popular Korando SUVspotted on the Indian roads, giving force to the speculations of its early launch in the country.

      The Kornado SUV will be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year, where it will be shelved above the price segment of Mahindra XUV 500, between Rs 15 to 20 lakhs.

      Powered by a 2-litre turbo-diesel engine, the SUV is capable of delivering a peak power of 173 bhp. The powerful engine of the vehicle will be offered in both manual and automatic transmission versions. With a length of 4.4 meteres, the Kornado SUV is a five seater vehicle with a considerably large boot space.

      The Ssangyong Kornado SUV has been much liked by the car enthusiasts for its sporty presence. The SUV comes equipped with a number of style boosting features including muscular flanks, 225/60 R17 tyres with flared wheel arches and stylish headlights.
