Kawasaki’s newest presentation, Versys 1000 was recently spotted in Romania, during the official photo-shoot of the company. However, the front fascia of the motorcycle was not captured during that event. However, the front portion of the Versys has now been shot, thanks to spy shots. It was again spotted in Romania, on the Transalpina Road. The snap shot of the front fascia will undoubtedly make fans more excited about this new presentation from the house of the globally renowned Kawasaki.

According to the spy shot, which has been received, The Versys 1000 will be introduced in the market with a completely new fairing, thus lending it a leaner as well as more streamlined look. Previously, the Versys had a vertically stacked headlamp; however, the 2015 version will replace it with a somewhat less eye-catching twin headlamp. The body structure has been reworked and a new windscreen has been installed, just to add some chic looks to this bike.

The Versys 1000 from Kawasaki has a strong resemblance with the brand’s streetfighter range of motorcycles. It bears quite similar features with the iconic Z1000 and Z1000SX. Fans might take a cue from this fact that the technical modifications that were added on to the Z range of models might be carry forwarded to the Versys. Definitely, the Versys 1000 will be benefitted from the additional features of the Z models. There is also a smaller sibling of this model, the Versys 650, which is powered by a 650 cc engine. Simultaneously, it is also expected that all the modifications in features will also be upgraded on the smaller sibling of Versys 1000, as well.

Most of the other models of Kawasaki have been updated with the 2015 models; the Versys motorcycles have not received the newer variants, as of now. It is expected that both, Versys 1000 and Versys 650 will be showcased at Cologne where the Intermot Show is scheduled, later this month. The Versys 1000 will face stiff challenge from other litre-class motorcycles like Ducati Multistrada, BMW S1000XR, Triumph Tiger Explorer and Aprilia Dorsoduro.
