The Indian unit of the leading Japanese auto maker Toyota Motors is gearing up to roll-out the new version of its popular premium sedan Camry in the Indian market. The car will be officially unveiled in the Indian market by the end of this year.
Recently, spy shots of the new Camry were posted on a number of auto news dailies. The front styling of the car has been upgraded with more aggression and fascination. While the headlights in the new model have been stretched to the wheel arches, a larger Toyota logo with single dual chrome horizontal slats has added to enhance the grace of the car. The bumpers of the car have also been upgraded.
Besides these cosmetic changes, the car will also be carrying increased fuel efficiency and a reduced carbon emission level.
Currently, the car is available in the price segment of Rs 21,58,220 - Rs 23,73,170, where it is competing with the likes of Honda Accord, Nissan Teana, Volkswagen Passat, etc. With the launch of new generation model, the Camry model will be enabled to compete more promptly with its rivals in the Indian market.
