Maruti Suzuki has updated the S-Cross and Baleno, from their Nexa line-up, with minor changes without any revisions to the price.

Slight revisions made to the Maruti S-Cross and Baleno

Let’s start with the S-Cross, which now gets 16-inch alloy wheels with a 15-spoke design that’s finished in deep grey. This may be the last revision made to the S-Cross as the model has already been facelifted abroad, and is expected to hit the Indian market in the first half of 2017.

The other Nexa product, Maruti’s Baleno, will now come with ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard fitment across the range. With the addition of this safety feature to the existing list of safety functions, the Baleno will now be BNVSAP complaint (Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program). Also, with Maruti’s Baleno boosterjet test mule constantly doing the rounds, it is expected that this performance oriented version will reach showrooms in the first quarter of 2017 too.

Nexa dealers are now ramping up for the launch of the Maruti Ignis on the 13th of January. Stay tuned to CarWale for the details.
