SGA cars, the Skoda dealership in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has delivered 125 units of the recently launched Slavia in a single day. These 125 units consisted of different variants, colours, and powertrains.
In other news, Skoda recently outfitted the Slavia with a smaller eight-inch infotainment, which replaced the bigger 10-inch unit, citing the semiconductor shortage. The new infotainment misses out on wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, instead gets a wired connectivity option.
The Slavia gets two powertrain options: a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol motor. The former is paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, while the latter is mated to seven-speed DSG automatic or six-speed manual transmission. The Skoda Slavia competes against the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and the all-new Volkswagen Virtus.
