The Skoda Vision S will be offered in four-cylinder petrol and diesel engine options. The engines will be offered in a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic unit. On the design aspect, the Vision S will get a wide trapezoid grille, higher positioned headlamps infused with LED technology and unique signature daytime running lights. The rear section gets LED rear lights made from multifaceted cut crystal glass. The long rear spoiler with narrow rear window adds to its sporty appeal. Inside, the SUV will get 12-inch digital instrument panel and a vertically aligned 8-inch screen in the central console. The interiors will get a rich upholstery to deliver a premium feel.

At the Geneva motor show, the company had also showcased the Vision S plug-in hybrid concept, however this will not be introduced in India anytime soon. Post launch, the vehicle will compete against the upcoming second generation Toyota Fortuner and the Volkswagen Tiguan, along with the likes of Hyundai Santa Fe and the Ford Endeavour in India.
