The Skoda Rapid will soon be updated with a new feature list in the automatic trim. The top-end Style variant will now come with 16-inch alloy wheels and a reverse camera.
The new alloys wheels are not just bigger in size, they also get a new pattern to differentiate it from the standard models. The reverse camera will be paired with the current touch screen infotainment system's head unit. These feature additions will made to diesel as well as petrol automatic models.
There won't be any changes to the powertrain. The petrol automatic will continue to be powered by the 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine mated to a six-speed tiptronic transmission. The oil-burner will also continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre TDI mill paired to the seven-speed DSG gearbox.
These brochure scans confirm the soon-to-be-launched Rapid sedan with these new added features. Skoda has not updated the feature list on their official website yet. However, some dealers have received a price list which displays an added Rs 35,000 to the top-end model. Reports also suggest that the updated models have started reaching dealerships as well.
