Skoda's pre-monsoon check-up camp scheduled from May 16 onwards

Skoda owners can get their cars checked for free from a Skoda dealership before this year’s monsoons. The manufacturer has scheduled a pre-monsoon check-up camp from May 16 to June 16.

The automaker has come up with this campaign for the periodic maintenance of Skoda cars and also to educate their customers about the same. Skoda vehicles will be thoroughly inspected under a 40-point complementary check-up scheme. This will include cleaning of the plenum chamber and pollen filter. Technicians will also inspect the brake pads, functioning of wipers, lights etc. Furthermore, a thorough check-up of the car’s AC, ventilation and heating system, wheels, tyre pressure and wheel alignment will also be done.

The service technicians will also recommend parts to be changed or replaced, so that their customers do not face any issues during the monsoons. Apart from the check-up, the manufacturer is also providing some discount on some spare parts.

The commencement of this free check-up camp is a good step to overcome any issues in the car just before the monsoons. Such after-sales services help customers to take care of their vehicle and get the maintenance of the car done. It is also an opportunity for the manufacturer to connect, engage and educate the consumer about the importance of vehicle maintenance and safety.
