Skoda Auto has revealed images of its SUV, the Kodiaq ahead of the cars official unveil that’s slated for September 1, 2016 in Berlin. The pictures extensively showcase the brands expressive design language that will make it to their upcoming vehicle.
Skoda’s all-new Kodiaq will come with seven seats, and will be engineered to offer a variety of seating options to its occupants. The car maker has even gone to the extent of arming this SUV with enough boot space that ranges from 720 litres to 2065 litres, with the rear seats folded. While the exteriors highlight the sleek full-LED headlamps, a three-dimensional radiator and the angular sculpted design lines, one will also notice the tail lamps that light up with the familiar Skoda C-shape.
A unique feature that finds its way into the upcoming Kodiaq is ‘Area View’ which uses a series of cameras to show the car’s surroundings on the internal display. Additionally, ‘Manoeuvre Assist’ is a safety feature that will get the car to automatically brake if a hindrance is found while reversing.
Skoda Auto is expected to launch the Kodiaq for the Indian market in 2017.
