Skoda India, the completely owned division of Volkswagen Group, seems in full swing to promote its flagship sedan, Rapid in the Indian auto market. Interestingly, the model is already a best selling model for the auto maker; however Skoda is coming up with some of the aggressive marketing strategies to further boost its sales. Off late, the Czech auto maker offered an attractive discount on its model, which proved quite lucrative for Skoda India. Following this success, the car maker has now come up with another luring television commercial, representing the Rapid sedan and its various state-of-the art features.
Termed as ‘Driven by Excellence’, the commercial revolves around the overall excellence of the sedan, which strikes first with the sentiments of young buyers of the country. The ad campaign is believed to establish an emotional connection with the owner of Rapid sedan as its delivers a strong message, saying ‘Driven by Excellence’. The television commercial flaunts brilliant features and accessories of the model with much fawned upon ride comfort. With aggressive marketing plans of the auto maker, industry experts believe that the new Rapid is all prepared to take the market by storm by breaking all its earlier sales records.
Prior to this, Skoda India offered an EMI scheme on its model to the domestic buyers for a limited time. The scheme is till active, which enables buyers to purchase the model at a monthly instalment of just Rs. 8,999. Following this scheme, a number of individuals went for the Rapid rapidly, since it is a limited time offer. Reportedly, this scheme is active at all the 106 outlets of Skoda Auto, which are located across the length and breadth of the country.
