After revising price across its line-up in India, Skoda has now launched the limited edition of its popular sedan Rapid, ‘Ultima’ in the domestic market. Skoda India had hinted towards bringing in limited editions of their products. Nominal changes have been made to the sedan. Rapid Ultima limited edition does not flaunt any vital changes on the outside except the body graphics around the Ultima sticker. Features likeprojector headlamps, multi-functional steering wheel, audio player with Aux-in & USB input, alloy wheels, GPS navigation with camera, parking sensors, climatronic control, Ultima door sill moldings, bluetooth, dual front airbags, roof and side foil, Ultima floor mats and several others are equipped in the limited edition Ultima.
To lure the customers, company is offering an Exchange Bonus Scheme of Rs 15,000 and a corporate Benefit of Rs 10,000. Finance is also available for up to 100 per cent with EMIs of Rs 9,999 and insurance at Re 1. The company seems to be revising its product range in India. Skoda India recently made some upgrades to Skoda Rapid sedan which has roped in good response with a rise of 30 per cent in demand. Facelifted version of its popular premium saloon Superb was also launched at the 12thAuto Expo earlier in February. Octavia too has been brought back to the domestic market and Yeti SUV is also slated to be launched with significant upgrades by the second half of 2014.
