Limited edition Skoda Rapid Rider has been launched in India at a price of Rs 6.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The vehicle is limited to the 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine and it is available in two colour options – candy white and carbon steel. The limited-edition model gets sporty cosmetic detailing and new features.
The Skoda Rapid Rider distinguishes itself from the regular model with a black facade of the Skoda signature grille, black side foils, glossy black decor on the B-pillars and black trunk lip garnish. Moreover, the Rapid Rider gets dual-tone ebony sand interiors with ivory slate upholstery and scuff plates with Rapid inscription.
In addition to standard safety features like dual airbags and ABS, the Rapid Rider gets Parktronic rear parking sensors, anti-glare interior rearview mirror, rear windscreen defogger with timer, height-adjustable three-point seatbelts at the front, rough road package, and engine immobilizer with a floating code system.
Under the hood, the Rapid Rider is powered by the existing 1.6-litre petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission produces 104bhp at 5200rpm and max torque of 153Nm at 3750rpm.
