ŠKODA, the fully owned subsidiary of Volkswagen, has arranged a summer camp for the check-up of its cars in India. This event will commence from 2nd April 2012 and will last for a month. The camp will include 16 point complimentary check-up for all the customers of ŠKODA throughout the country. This check-up will focus on the air conditioner, electrical system, engine, wheel rims, tires and other main parts of vehicle.

The main idea conceived behind this check-up is to ensure that the long journeys planned by car owners for the coming summer vacation should emerge as a memorable journey. With this camp, the company shows commitment towards its customers in India. At this check-up camp, ŠKODA hopes to witness the entry of at least 28,000 cars in this month.

These types of check-up camps are not organised for the first time by ŠKODA, as the company had arranged pollution check-up camps, monsoon car care camps and festival camps. All these attempts add to the ŠKODA driving experience.

ŠKODA Auto India started its operations in the Indian auto market during November 2001. In the current scenario, the company is counted among one of the fastest developing car makers in Europe. ŠKODA has set up state-of-the-art production plant that sprawls around a vast area of 300,000 square meters in Shendra near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The company is currently engaged in selling its five brands in the Indian market, namely Superb, Laura, Fabia, Yeti and the recently added ŠKODA Rapid. ŠKODA has established a sound network of its authorized dealers, as the company operates 100 outlets throughout the country. With these dealerships, ŠKODA has sold around 1, 38,341 cars from December 2001.
