      Shell lubricants has sealed the deal with what is India’s biggest biking festival- India Bike Week. Shell will be the “Official Gold Sponsor” for the 2015 India Bike Week, which happens to be a two-day festival in Goa. The Festival brings together all the bike enthusiasts from around the world, including many solo riders and brotherhoods to enjoy and celebrate the pure fun of riding bikes.

      To create a buzz about its tie up, Shell, on the sidelines of the festival, launched a four week contest campaign on the Facebook page of India Bike Week, giving away free tickets of the festival. Week after week, Shell would shortlist a winner depending on the quality of the post based on the answers provided to the contest questions. Shell Lubricants will also have various enticing things for the visitors at IBW, including a knowledge-based session for enthusiastic and proficient riders and the veterans as well. A Shell Zone would also be set up to make available relevant biker information. To make it more fun for riders and visitors, Shell will pull out some new tricks from its bag.

      Speaking about the association, Nitin Prasad, Managing Director of Shell Lubricants in India said that the passion for biking in India continues to grow and with such a shift, the consumers are also shifting towards lubricants which are technologically enhanced and advanced. He also said that he felt IBW is a great partner to them for showcasing their cutting-edge technology and solutions as it is a premier event among many biking enthusiasts all over the world. He mentioned that those solutions have been a result of extensive research and development designed not only to provide ultimate protection and performance that Shell has always provided, but also a pleasurable biking experience to modern riders. He expressed his excitement of being the Gold Sponsor of IBW, which he felt, is a must attend for every bike enthusiast.

      The Chief Marketing Officer of Shell Lubricants India, Mansi Tripathy, expressed her happiness about the tie up and said that in today’s marketing world, a company has to follow where the customer goes. She felt that partnering up with IBW is a step towards this same and is a mutually beneficial goal.
