      Seventh generation Volkswagen Golf to mark its debut at Paris Auto Show

      The new generation model of the popular Volkswagen Golf is speculated to mark its debut at the upcoming Paris Auto Show. This will be the seventh generation model of the Volkswagen Golf, and is expected to carry a number of changes and upgrades. The company, however, hasn’t revealed the details of this model, so that it can be kept in wrap and further increase the excitement and eagerness among the car enthusiasts.

      Based on the company’s MQB modular platform, which stands for modular transverse matrix, the all new Volkswagen Golf model will be carrying a number of advanced technological features. It is to be mentioned here that Volkswagen AG group, which has brands like Skoda and SEAT under its banner, will produce a number of vehicles on this platform in the coming years.

      The car will be carrying a higher fuel economy and lower emission level as compared to the previous generation models. New Volkswagen Golf will be marking its debut in the US market by year 2013.

      Designed by Walter da Silva, Head, who is Volkswagen Design Department, the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf model promises to be blessed with futuristic design characteristics. The car has been designed more spacious and longer as compared to the previous versions of the car.
