Popular bike maker Royal Enfield has made an official announcement regarding the organisation of the Reunion in 2014, which is going to be held in the picturesque hill station of Manali, located in Himachal Pradesh. The hugely popular Reunion will be organised by Royal Enfield on the first weekend of August in North Manali, lasting from 1st August to 3rd August. According to the company, riders in excess of 100, hailing from North Indian cities and towns like Delhi-NCR, Amritsar and Chandigarh, will take part in this event. This Reunion gives an opportunity to owners of Royal Enfield bikes to ride through Manali through a challenging yet beautiful route over a period of 3 days.
A lot of fun events will be organised by Royal Enfield to keep the participants entertained and most of them will be themed around the bike, such as Slow Race, Figure of Eight, Carry Your Bike and Assembly Wars. To make it more interesting, family members and friends can be brought along with them by the participants, thereby ensuring that no one is lonely.
The company has already opened registration and interested participants have started doing so. As per the website, the registration fee for Reunion North is INR 5000 for individuals, INR 9000 for couples and INR 4000 for students. There is also a provision for people who want to ride in groups and the nearest Royal Enfield store can be contacted for the same. Royal Enfield has allowed participants from Delhi-NCR to join from the company’s concept store, which is located at Select Citywalk Saket in New Delhi at 4:00 AM on the 1st of August. Different locations for cities like Chandigarh, Shimla and Amritsar have been allotted as well, thereby making it comfortable for participants.
