      Royal Enfield Launches Two New Models

      Royal Enfield has launched Bullet Classic 500 EFI and Classic 350 in the Indian auto market. The two new models are both unique in their own way. Bullet Classic 500 is the first Royal Enfield model in India that has fuel injection technology. On the other hand, 350cc model comes with analogue carburetor and is comparatively cheaper. Bullet Classic 500 EFI is priced at Rs. 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and 350 EFI model is tagged at Rs. 98,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

      Bullet Classic 500 EFI model is powered by 500cc UCE engine which develops 27.2bhp of max power @ 5250rpm and a max torque of 41.3Nm @ 4000rpm. The Classic 350 churns out 19.8bhp of peak power at 5250rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. The Classic 500 and Classic 350 will be available in four colours – Red, sky blue, silver and black.

       "Royal Enfield has an extremely rich heritage of practical leisure motorcycling for over 100 years. We will use this philosophy and the UCE platform to design and introduce a wide range of motorcycles over the next three years to span a variety of motorcycling genres such as classic sports and touring," Eicher Motors Managing Director and CEO Siddartha Lal. Royal Enfield is a part of Eicher Motors Ltd and it intends to invest over Rs. 65 crore in the next three years to double production capacity to one lakh units.

      Royal Enfield
