Royal Enfield fans have a new reason to cheer about. The Continental GT, being a sporty offering from the bikemaker was recently spotted by sources with all the more powerful 750cc engine. For a while now rumors had been doing rounds that the bike may get a 400cc or 750cc engine, but this is indeed the first time that a real time pictures have emerged.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750cc in-line twin-cylinder engine is likely to generate impressive power output of about 45 – 50 BHP with 60 NM of torque. Though it is possible that the company may offer oil cooled system in production version, the one spotted featured air cooled dynamics, probably to keep the cost under check.
Royal Enfield has not spoken in detail on the technical specs yet and complete details shall probably be known at the time of official announcement being made by the company in this regard. Post launch the bike is likely to emerge as a strong competitor against Harley Davidson's Street 750. Moreover, as the bike features Cafe Racer inspired styling, it is likely to be a popular choice amongst the younger lot.
