      Rolls-Royce Series II launching in India tomorrow

      Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II sporting minor exterior and interior changes will be launched tomorrow in India. Besides this, the luxury auto giant has also bestowed handful of goodies on the vehicle. Among the new additions, two rectangular LED head lights, two new alloy wheel options, new rear bumper and new exterior colour options are included. Other tweaks comprise of restyled electronic adjustments and heating options. Minimal modifications have been made to the instrument cluster, a newly designed infotainment system has been incorporated inside the cabin along with a 10-inch multimedia screen with touchpad controller for infotainment.

      The company vouches to have improved ride and handling dynamics of the new Rolls-Royce Series II as compared to the outgoing variant. Power will come from the same 6.75-litre, V12 engine that yields top power output of 563 Bhp along with pinnacle torque of 780 Nm. Courtesy the athletic engine the vehicle propels from 0 to 100 kmph within 4.9 seconds and hits top speed mark of 250 kmph. The engine will be mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox.

      India currently has the normal and extended wheelbase variants available for sale priced at Rs 3 crore. The new Ghost Series II is likely to undergo slight price bump.
