A look at the spy picture reveals that the new Phantom carries on with the basic design lines of the current model. However, one can notice the sharper rectangular head lights, and the characteristic grille that is now taller than before. What adds to the overall visual experience is the reshaped C-pillar which now lends the car a more aerodynamic profile.

Sources suggest that a huge V12 motor will continue to do duty in the new car, and there are also rumours that the new Phantom could sport a plug-in hybrid variant too. This next-gen Phantom will use the company’s new aluminium space-frame platform which is expected to significantly cut weight from this large luxury saloon. As always, customers will be given the choice to opt for the long-wheelbase or short-wheelbase version that will be on offer.

Rolls-Royce’s upcoming Phantom will carry on the tradition of offering some of the best luxury experiences a car can offer.
