      Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification likely to be launched by 2014-end

      Rolls-Royce, the British luxury car company, recently unveiled its Ghost V-Specification model. Sources close to the development process have revealed that it will be a limited edition car and will be exclusively targeted to the niches of society. Details of this model were recently introduced by the Rolls-Royce, which enticed the auto aficionados all over the world. Reportedly, this new model from British auto maker will have an improved power output, accompanied with a number luxurious features, which were yet not present in the current generation model of Ghost. It has been also hinted that buyers will be offered with an option of choosing between the Ghost V-Specification and Ghost V-Specification Extended Wheelbase models.

      Sources have claimed that Ghost V-Specification will come equipped with a reworked twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 engine, which will churn out a maximum power of over 590 bhp. Interestingly, this power output is almost 30 bhp more than that of standard version of Ghost. With this impressive power output, this new model can smoothly accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill in just 4.7 seconds. Apart from an enhanced power output, the engine of Ghost V-Specification will return a better mileage. Along with technical upgrades, the limited edition model of Ghost will also feature a number of cosmetic changes at its exteriors. The car will be offered with five new colour options, namely Graphite, Black Sapphire, Black Kirsch, Arctic White and Infinity Black. Along with these new colour options, potential buyers can opt for company's 44,000 shade palette.

      Key highlights at the exteriors of new model will be a hand-painted coach line, 21-inch part polished wheels, a new design of clock, special door sills, embroidery on the rear armrest V-Specification motif and contrast piping with stitching for leather upholstery. An option of chrome painted exhausts is also on the chart of British auto maker. It must be noted that the company has not revealed the number of total units of V-Specification, which it will produce; however it has said that this car will be available for a limited period. It is being speculated that the new Rolls Royce Ghost V-Specification will head towards Geneva for its official debut by the end of 2014.
