      The Indian arm of BMW, the stylish sports and luxury car making German automotive marque, is pumped up for the much awaited launch of its ultra-modish X6 Sports Activity Coupe (SAC), in the domestic market on November 22, 2012. Pegged by the company as world's first ever SAC, the BMW X6 is a state-of-the-art amalgamation of a luxury saloon with an exalting driving dynamics of a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The high end Indian clientele and admirers of the German brand have been eagerly anticipating the launch of revamped X6, since BMW had already launched the new model in several international auto markets this year.

      The soon-to-be launched BMW X6 sports - luxury crossover will come trimmed with a number of enticing interior and exterior modifications. The looks have been given a more aggressive makeover, while the overall design character completely agrees with design lineage and philosophy of the uber-cool German auto maker. The much fawned upon BMW's DNA is more than evident on the upcoming X6 facelift, which entails world's first SAC to flaunt one-of-a-kind character set comprising luxury quotient, versatility with compelling sporty dynamics.

      Coming to exterior changes, the BMW X6 has repositioned fog lamps, slightly higher than its precursor brothers, while a redesigned radiator grille and a mannish front overhang gives a more complete look to the front fascia. The reworked X6 has been given a higher stance and a stylish waist line that underline the crossover's dominance on any uncertain terrain. The new head and tail lamps look inspiring as well, besides the futuristic alloy wheels could leave any car enthusiast in the world mesmerised.

      Speaking about under-the-hood specifications, the facelifted BMW X6 xDrive30d is expected to come assimilated with a 3.0 litre, 6 cylinder, 2993 cc, V powertrain installed with four valved technology. The drivetrain is mated to an eight speed automatic transmission gear box, while the 3.0 litre diesel motors delivers an impressive power and torque equation close to 250 bhp and 500 Nm, respectively. The soon-to-be launched BMW X6 crossover is expected to carry a price tag around Rs. 70 to Rs. 75 lacs in the country, upon its launch.
