As seen in the Voyage Edition, the company has given a new touchscreen multimedia system, which also functions as a navigation system. In order to offer an enhanced sound quality, Renault India has given new audio components i.e. 4 speakers and 2 tweeters from FOCAL. Also to mention, Renault India is reportedly giving away a free Pulse Voyage accessories package worth Rs. 58000. Besides these additional features and accessory packs, the company is offering free insurance and extended warranty for two years apart from the roadside assistance for four years. It must be noted that the move to give away FOCAL speakers came as no surprise as Renault has always given high-end audio system in its cars with the example being of Koleos in which Bose speakers are on offer.

As generally seen in special edition models, the company has not altered the car's mechanicals as it continue to provide the same engine configuration as before. Pulse Voyage has been offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, with different tuned specifications altogether. The petrol version of Pulse Voyage gets a 3-cylinder 1.2-litre naturally aspirated unit that generates a maximum power that equals to 74 bhp while attaining a peak torque of 104 Nm. While on the other hand, the diesel version of the newly launched model is equipped with the renowned 1.5-litre K9K engine that puts out 62 bhp of power with 160 Nm of torque.

The reason attributed by industry experts for the launch of Pulse Voyage Edition is the plummeting demand for the car. Notably, the strategy of introducing Pulse in the Indian car market has not worked well for the company as its high price tag has refrained buyers from purchasing it. It will be interesting to see whether or not, the demand for Nissan Pulse goes a bit higher as company officials have been quite optimistic about the new launch.
