The Indian unit of the French auto giant, Renault, has launched new petrol version of its latest compact hatchback Pulse in the Indian auto market. The new Pulse petrol carries a starting piece tag of Rs. 4.25 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The petrol version of this car is offered in three variants including base model RXE, middle range RXL at Rs 4.99 lakh, and top end RXZ with a price tag of Rs 5.55 lakh.
Powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, the new Pulse petrol delivers a peak power of 80 PS. The powerful engine of the car comes with a five speed manual transmission gearbox.
The company has offered the new Renault petrol in six exciting exterior color options along with two interior color themes, same as offered with the Renault Pulse diesel version. The major attractions of the new Pulse include front dual airbags, ABS , automatic climate control, follow-me headlamps, illuminated engine start - stop button, all power windows, lock-unlock sensing folding outside rear view mirrors and integrated audio system.
The addition of petrol version in the line-up will make the Renault Pulse compete more promptly with competitors likes Maruti Swift, Ritz, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo and Honda Brio.
