In an attempt to reach out to more customers and further boost sales, Renault India has listed its popular selling Kwid hatchback on Paytm. The listing on the portal states that a customer can pay the booking amount of Rs 10,000 for the Kwid hatchback. The offer also states customers stand a chance to avail cashback benefits amounting to Rs 10,000 while booking through Paytm. Currently, this offer is only for New Delhi and NCR regions, while it will soon be offered in other parts of India as well.
Recently, Suzuki Motorcycles had collaborated with Paytm for their two-wheeler sales. Following suit, this time around Renault has also entered into a strategic partnership with the popular portal starting with the Kwid hatchback. Moving ahead, the company has revealed its plans to us that it will consider Paytm and other online selling platforms for introducing more models from their line-up in India. In the coming days the company will gauge the trend for online sales and based on it, the company will introduce more models at a later date.
Renault will be introducing a more powerful 1.0-litre Kwid and an AMT equipped version in India soon. If launched, we can expect them to be sold via such online platforms. The bigger engine Kwid variant is expected to generate around 67bhp of power, while safety features like ABS with EBD and dual front airbags might be offered as optional on higher variants.
