Renault India has finally launched the much-awaited Fluence facelift sedan in the Indian car market. The vehicle was first unveiled at the recently concluded 2014 Auto Expo.
The Renault Fluence facelift is now available in two trims, the E2 and E4. While the entry-level E2 model is priced at Rs. 14.22 lakh, the E4 variant costs Rs. 15.81 lakh, (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
The front fascia of the facelifted sedan sports new grille, re-designed headlamps and a new bumper with integrated fog lamps. The side profile of the sedan features a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the sedan gets a new touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Satellite Navigation, a new audio system with a soft touch dashboard, dual zone climate control, newly designed instrument cluster, electronic parking brake and others. When it comes to safety, the updated Fluence sedan gets the cruise control, parking sensors, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution, ESP, four airbags, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing headlamps and few more.
Mechanically, the Renault Fluence facelift remains unchanged. It is powered by a 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that produces 108.5bhp of power and 240Nm of top torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
