The Duster compact SUV from Renault has mesmerised the auto buyers in the country with its impressive performance and styling cues. This time around sources have spotted the facelift version ahead of its official unveiling during the 2016 Auto Expo event. It is believed that the facelift version may be offered in manual gearbox and in optional AMT variant. Post unveiling at the event, the new version is expected to be up on sale sometime late in first quarter.
Though the one spotted had been thoroughly camouflaged, the new 2016 Renault Duster is likely to carry forth the styling cues as seen on the Brazilian version. The compact SUV would get redone headlamps, tail lamps and newly designed alloy. Moreover, the grille, and front and rear bumpers also gets a new design to add to its overall charm.
Sources have indicated that Renault may offer the Easy-R AMT gearbox on its 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates about 109bhp. The manual version would be offered with six-speed manual transmission, while the AMT could also be offered with six-speed unit. The pricing aspect is not known for now; going by anticipation customers can expect the AMT variant to command an additional Rs 1 lakh over the manual version.
