Renault Duster coming with a Media Nav system as optional feature

Renault India has introduced a cutting edge multimedia system in its flagship compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Duster, named ‘Media Nav’. The new add on happens to be an 18 cm touch sensitive screen, which features satellite navigation, radio and telephony, along with multimedia connection functions. Reportedly, the new advancement will be mounted on the dashboard of Duster, adding to the sporty looks of its interiors.

The Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at Renault India, Sumit Sawhney quoted, “The Renault Duster was a breakthrough offering in the Indian market, with the performance of SUV and the comfort of a sedan at an affordable cost. With the introduction of the Media NAV system, the Duster now offers enhanced convenience and a more enjoyable drive, all at the customers’ fingertips.”

The main menu of Media NAV provides an easy access to the key functions used by the passengers, like radio, media, telephone, satellite navigation and settings. It also features Bluetooth technology, facilitating driver to make calls without using the hands and synchronise their contact list while perusing the call history. With this new infotainment system, passengers can also connect their smartphone or iPod through a USB port. This new system can be operated with either a steering wheel mounted controls or touch sensitive display. Interestingly, the intuitive navigation system of Media NAV easily functions with the 2D, 3D and Bird view graphics.

Renault India has offered this new advancement as an optional feature in Duster’s two models, namely the 85 PS RxL and 110 PS RxZ against a price consideration of Rs. 10,79,000 and Rs. 11,99,000 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
