Renault India has announced their line-up for the forthcoming 2018 Auto Expo.
The French carmaker promises a wide array of product line-up ranging from design, performance and concept cars. Firstly, the entire Renault India’s product line-up will be on showcase with innovative themes, says the French carmaker. Boasting of their rich motorsport heritage will be the actual F1 race car gracing its presence at their stall. The RS17 is the 2017 season Renault competitor piloted by Nico Hulkenberg and Jolyon Palmer. The turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 working in conjunction with an eight-speed transmission with a quick shifter is housed in a composite moulded carbon fibre and aluMINIum honeycomb monocoque. The F1 car finished sixth in the constructor's championship with overall 57 points at the end of the season.
Renault also promises other electric vehicles from its global portfolio to show up at the Auto Expo. The electric car will be the Renault Zoe EV. Renault’s production electric car packs a 41 kWh lithium ion battery pack and is available in selected markets across Europe. The concept vehicle from the French carmaker is expected to be the highly acclaimed Trezor Concept. First showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the Trezor won many laurels as the best looking concept car. The two-seater GT gives a glimpse of Renault’s future design philosophy as it can also be seen on other concepts that followed later. Apart from showcars, Renault India has also planned an array of digital and exciting customer-engagement programmes for the Expo stage.
