Suzuki has been a strong brand in the global market. But unfortunately, the motorcycle wing of Suzuki could not garner strong sales numbers in comparison to brands like Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj and TVS in the country. In order to strengthen the brands presence in the Indian market, Suzuki has recently launched the new Hayate with fresh upgrades. Suzuki Hayate has been present in the Indian market for quite a while now, but it never gathered much sales numbers but with minor tweaks this time around the bike may well be accepted by the local population. The new 2014 edition of Suzuki Hayate has been launched at a price tag of about Rs. 44, 969 (ex-showroom).
