      German car maker Mercedes-Benz has been on a roll in the recent past, performing well throughout the globe, including and especially India. 2013, in particular, has been an excellent year in terms of sales and new launches. The iconic luxury auto maker has made waves throughout the globe by unveiling several new models at various automobile shows throughout the world.       The German firm, as of now, has not given any indication regarding the launch date but sources claim that it might take place in 2014. Also, this car is going to be shown to public at 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show, scheduled to take place in coming weeks. Since the market for luxury cars is slowly gaining more prominence in India, the brand with three-pointed star could launch S65 AMG in the country as well. Mercedes-Benz has added a lot of styling features to S65 AMG along with numerous technological advancements to make the entire package more appealing. AMG vehicles from the firm are known for their stylish design, world-class interiors and performance-enhancing features. This car is no different as it is going to come with a new front grille, new badging, twin sets of exhausts tailpipes, new bumpers (rear and front), large front air intakes and front splitter.

      Sources claim that the Daimler owned company has made the use of modern techniques to reduce the weight of this model. Weight-saving technologies used for this S-Class model are part-carbonfibre bonnet, lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels and lithium-ion battery. In terms of interiors, Mercedes-Benz has provided S65 AMG with sports seats and bespoke steering wheel. Great emphasis has been laid on enhancing the driving dynamics and passenger comfort aspects. This model is going to come with the Magic Body Control function, which facilitates adjustment of suspension system in accordance with the road ahead. Other than this, standard features likely to be included in S65 AMG are Attention Assist, Electrically adjustable rear seats, LED Intelligent light system, panoramic sliding roof and Burmester 3D surround sound system.

      However, the USP of Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG lies in its engine, which is extremely powerful and efficient. According to reports, the company has made use of the world's most efficient V12 engine, making this model a combination of speed, power and efficiency. This car is going to be fitted with a 6.0-litre V12 engine that is twin-turbocharged. The powerful V12 engine allows S65 AMG to deliver a peak output of around 621 bhp and around a 1000 Nm of top torque. This car has the ability to clock 100 kmph from scratch in around 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of approximately 250 kmph. Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG comes with the highly acclaimed Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic transmission that offers three driving modes.

      According to reports, Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch this car in Germany next year, following which it will enter other global markets. Given its superb features and power levels, industry experts feel that this model has the potential to do really well in India. In recent times, despite challenging conditions, luxury cars have managed to register excellent sales figures. Mercedes-Benz, in particular, has enjoyed a great 2013 up till now, staging a remarkable comeback. As of now, there is no news of the introduction of S65 AMG in India but given the importance the country's market is gaining, experts believe it that the launch is not far away.
